The Edible City: Tasting Urban Futures. Leonie Bais, Ilse Donker.
The city can be so much more edible, and together we’re going to do something about it! Join our intervention and share guerrilla gardening ideas, foraging knowledge, and local delicacies! We’ll meet at SIGN and start with a walk through the city, where we’ll plant hazelnuts, walnuts, sweet chestnuts, and cuttings. A silent revolution with the motto: “as many nuts in the ground as in your mouth!” A cheerful and fruitful initiative to green and nourish the city. Afterwards, we’ll dive into the kitchen together. Ilse and Leonie have already gathered a beautiful harvest of foraging products, and we’ll add local ingredients. Together we’ll cook a feast and conclude with a cozy dinner full of flavor, stories, and connection.

Reken op een stevig programma over de geëngageerde actuele kunstpraktijk, kunst & activisme, lokale politiek en milieu, discussies over vrije ruimte, broedplaatsen, (anti)/kraak, de waarde van alternatieve leefwijzen, voedselpolitiek, en op bijeenkomsten met performances, workshops, Queer Club Night, een leesgroep, en doe mee aan de stadstour van Alternative Groningen Tour! Workshop door Stroomversneller voor mensen van verschillende collectieven. “Zonder wrijving, geen glans: navigeren door conflicten binnen collectieven.”
Zondag 7 – 12 event in de middag van 13:00 – 18:00 uur
De Eetbare stad: Proef de Toekomst. Leonie Bais , Ilse Donker.
De stad kan zoveel eetbaarder, en wij gaan daar samen iets aan doen! Doe mee met onze interventie en deel guerilla gardening ideeën, wildpluk-kennis en lokaal lekkers! We ontmoeten in SIGN en starten met een wandeling door de stad, waar we hazelnoten, walnoten, tamme kastanjes en stekjes in de grond stoppen.Een stille revolutie met als motto: “net zoveel noten in de grond als in je mond!” Een vrolijke en vruchtbare actie om de stad te vergroenen én te voeden. Daarna duiken we samen de keuken in. Ilse en Leonie hebben al een mooie oogst aan wildplukproducten verzameld, en daar komen nog lokale ingrediënten bij. Samen koken we een feestmaal, en sluiten af met een gezellig diner vol smaak, verhalen en verbinding.
