Decolonial Practices: An Opening & Invitation

Decolonial Practices is an open, collective project that questions structures of power, knowledge, relationships and belonging. Starting from elsewhere, it invites shared re-thinking, unlearning, and action through art, dialogue and care.
This opening event marks the beginning of a year-long exploration, followed by three public gatherings and zine publications. Rather than a finished presentation, it is an entry point into a longer trajectory and an invitation to join an ongoing collective process that imagines other ways of being, relating and creating together.

16:00 – 17:00 – dialogues and collective reflection
17:30 – 18:30 – Cycles of hope and disaster in revolutionary Iran; dialogue with Donya Ahmadi

Everyone is invited to share their ideas, thoughts, and visual or textual contributions—each one matters and adds depth to the discussion!

Decolonial Practices is een open, collectief project dat machtsstructuren, kennis, relaties en verbondenheid ter discussie stelt. Vanuit een andere invalshoek nodigt het uit tot gezamenlijk heroverwegen, afleren en actie ondernemen door middel van kunst, dialoog en zorg.
Deze opening markeert het begin van een jaar lang onderzoek, gevolgd door drie openbare bijeenkomsten en zine-publicaties. Het is geen afgeronde presentatie, maar een instap in een langer traject en een uitnodiging om deel te nemen aan een doorlopend collectief proces dat andere manieren van zijn, relateren en samen creëren verkent.

17:30 – 18:30 – Cycli van hoop en rampspoed in revolutionair Iran; dialoog met Donya Ahmadi

Iedereen is uitgenodigd om zijn of haar ideeën, gedachten en ervaringen te delen. Visuele of tekstuele bijdragen – elk ervan is belangrijk en geeft meer diepgang aan de discussie!
