Willehad Eilers (1981, Peine Dld.) is een multidisciplinair kunstenaar en geeft via video’s, tekeningen en installaties, verwant aan strip- en graffiticultuur, een vaak spottend, ironisch commentaar op de samenleving. Soms met verwijzingen naar kunst en kunstenaarschap. Eilers heeft o.a. de One Minutes Awards 2005 gewonnen met een fragment uit zijn afstudeerfilm “Elefantos”. Speciaal voor de Raamexpositie in Sign maakt hij een monumentaal werk dat continu alleen vanaf de straatkant zichtbaar is.
Willehad Eilers is woonachtig in Amsterdam en is in 2005 afgestudeerd aan de Gerrit Rietveld Academie Amsterdam.
tijdens de opening:
-Het film 3-luik “Teenwolf Rooftop” toont op 3 LCD schermen een graffiti actie, waarbij de woorden steeds wisselende combinaties vormen. Ondanks het mechanische en willekeurige karakter hiervan leiden de keuze en de combinaties van woorden toch tot korte zinnen met ironische soms wrange betekenis.
–Ponzo is een klassiek ogende tekenfilm over het verdorven, gewetenloze neefje van Mickey Mouse.
–Punch movie handelt over orale fistfucking.

Willehad Eilers (1981 Peine Dld.) is a multidisciplinary artist who expresses with videos, drawings and installations that refer to the culture of comic and often mocking and ironic comment on society. Sometimes with references to art and being an artist. Eilers has won the One Minutes Award 2005 with a clip from the graduation move ‘Elefantos’. Especially for the window exhibition in Sign he makes a monumental drawing which can be seen from the street continuously.
The film triptych ‘Teenwolf Rooftop‘ during the opening shows a graffiti action, separately shown on three LCD-displays in which the words form perpetual changing combinations. Despite the mechanic and arbitrary character of this lead choice and combination of words nevertheless to short sentences with ironic and sometimes bitter meaning.
Ponzo is a classic looking comic film about the depraved, unscrupulous nephew of Mickey Mouse.
Punch movie is about oral fist fucking.
