Desert, Dessert, Disaster is een project waarin vijf 3e jaars kunstacademie studenten een dialoog met de ruimte, elkaar en andere kunstenaars en kunstkenners aangaan. Elke dag van de werkperiode komen de vijf op gezette tijden samen, soms aangevuld met een gast, om van gedachten te wisselen over definities, samenwerkingen, individuele concepten en om elkaar daarin te beproeven. Allen zijn begonnen als schilders van waaruit ze de uitdaging zijn aangegaan die andere disciplines, nieuwe technieken met zich meebrengen en die ze nu collectief verder gaan uitwerken.
In deze werkperiode komen zij tot een aantal multidisciplinaire werken die in een tentoonstellingsperiode voor publiek te bezichtigen zijn. De opening is zaterdag 11 mei 17.00 uur; u bent van harte welkom!

Desert, Dessert, Disaster is a project in which five third grade art students will set up a dialogue with the space, each other and other artists. Every day of the working period the five will come together at set times, sometimes with a guest, to exchange thoughts on definitions, collaborations, individual concepts and to test each other. All have started as painters and from that they are challenging that other disciplines, new techniques bring about and they work out together collectively.
In this working period they will come up with a number of multi-disciplinary works that can be watched by the audience during the exhibition period. The opening is Saturday May 11th 17.00 hrs, and you are very welcome.
